With nearly 30 years of experience in IT, Curtis Flax has dedicated his career to helping businesses solve real-world challenges and keep their systems running reliably. Over the years, he has seen firsthand how often small and rural businesses are left without the level of cybersecurity protection they truly need.

While large organizations have access to dedicated security teams and advanced tools, smaller businesses are often expected to rely on basic protection and hope it’s enough. Curtis has seen the consequences when it isn’t — and knew there had to be a better way.

That belief led to the creation of True Grit Security.

Outside of his work in technology, Curtis serves as a volunteer firefighter in his community. That experience has reinforced a core principle he brings into his work every day: preparation matters. Having the right systems in place before a crisis can make all the difference.
